DescriptionThis qualification may be used as a pathway for workforce entry as community services workers who provide a first point of contact and assist individuals in meeting their immediate needs. At this level, work takes place under direct, regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.
PathwaysPathways could include a Certificate III and IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention, Youth Work, Counselling and a pathway to Social Work.
Entry RequirementsStudents should have a satisfactory pass of Year 10 English. Students should have a genuine interest in developing skills and knowledge relating to Community Services.

Orientation DetailsA compulsory orientation session at NASC will occur on Thursday 6th February, 2020 at 10.30am. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend this session to meet the teachers and become familiar with the school grounds and our policies and procedures.
