DescriptionThe Plumbing Industry has had a long history as one of the traditional trades areas. There are a number of well recognised areas of engagement: • Domestic • Commercial• Retail Since plumbing is integrally linked with the Building and Construction Industry, there is a continuous demand for qualified Plumbers and associated Apprenticeship opportunities for young people. Completing this certificate can lead onto other areas of the Building and Construction Industry. Students will need to demonstrate their skills on and off site, completing both theory and practical components. Students will be involved in many activities including visits to worksites and working with new materials.
PathwaysThis can lead onto specialised areas including; general plumbing, gas fitting, roof plumbing, irrigation & retail. Other construction industry areas may also be pursued.
