DescriptionA full year program in developing skills and knowledge for a pathway in the Music Industry, with a primary focus on developing competent rehearsal and performance skills and techniques, participation in live performances mandatory. The course also includes musical analysis of a range of genres, song writing, copyright, notation, recording and working with music technology utilising current music software.

Entry RequirementsPreferably to have completed Certificate II in Music. Basic numeracy and literacy is essential. Regular attendance at classes and ability to complete work on time. Ability and willingness to perform in a class band. Willingness to write original music and perform in front of an audience. Some basic skills on an instrument.
Other RequirementsStudents are required to bring an exercise book, a pen and USB to every session. Own instrument is preferred.

Selection ProcessAn interview process is required.
Orientation DetailsA compulsory orientation session will occur on Thursday 6th February 2020 at 10:30am. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend this session to meet the teachers and become familiar with the school grounds and our policies and procedures.
Public TransportNorthern Adelaide Senior College is centrally located in Elizabeth and is walking distance from Elizabeth Shopping Centre and the Train Station.
