DescriptionThis course teaches students how to program games using Unity3D and the C# programming language. Within this course you will learn how to correctly use Unity3D, understanding the components that make up one of the most popular game engines for hobbyists and professionals alike. You will also learn how to program using C#, a powerful yet elegant programming language that allows you to create the interactions and gameplay mechanics for whatever game you can imagine.
PathwaysSuccessful completion of Certificate III in IDMT can be used as a pathway to the Advanced Diploma of Professional Games Development (Programming or Design) or Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media. The general skills acquired by this course have applications across a range of traditional industry sectors, including programming, graphic design, advertising, publishing computing and computer gaming, information design and simulation for the defence/medical/science industries.
