Course Description | This course has been designed as an introduction to the construction industry for year 10 students. It is a sample of a range of VET pathways and will not give a full certificate, but will provide a sample of a number of pathways including construction and electrotechnology. |
Pathways | On completion of this course, students could pursue their preferred pathway in the construction industry including Electrotechnology, Construction or Plumbing. |

Other Requirements | Students must bring pens, pencils, a ruler and calculator to all lessons. For practical activities steel capped boots, a long sleeved shirt and long pants must be worn. |
Dates and Times | 38 weekly sessions at Craigmore High School on Wednesdays from 09:00 until 15:10. Commencement date 02/02/21. A second class will be held on Thursday |

SACE Details | SACE Stage 1 and 2, 30 SACE credits Total 234 Nominal Hours.
This must be resulted under the 2 certificates separately.

Cost Notes | Department for Education Non-NASSSA students enrolling will incur a $50.00 additional Administration fee (Full year course – pro rata for semester/term courses). Non-Department for Education students enrolling will incur a $250.00 administration fee. (Full year course – pro rata for semester/term courses) Enrolments for both these groups of students MUST be done through the WebVET Administrator. |
